Hourglass Marketplace is a non-custodial, request-for-quote system that facilitates liquidity for DeFi assets on Hourglass. While quotes are requested and orders are matched off-chain, they are ultimately settled via Seaport to match signatures on-chain.

Liquidity Providers that plug into Marketplace are already onboarded to the supported set of markets. Equipped with a deeper understanding of the duration and risk of the underlying assets, we believe that active market makers can serve as sophisticated financial actors that provide more accurate price signals than AMMs.
